SCALING the heights of Shrikhand Mahadev – one of the most challenging religious Himalayan treks in India. The whole experience is like an access to stairway to heaven. It is a magical moment as one reaches the top. It enchants the devotee with divine waves of emotions. Thrills and chills move you inside out, also as one can feel the effusion scenic of mountains all around.

Legend behind Srikhand Mahadev Yatra

According to Hindu mythology, Bhasamasur meditated for several years. Lord Shiva got pleased and gave him bhasama kangan. Due to pride and ego Bhasamasur tried to use the bhasama kangan (the invisible powder) on Lord Shiva , Mahadev vanished into a cave and later appeared on a hill top that is presently known as the Srikhand Mahadev Peak and the cave into which he had vanished is known as Devdhank and is situated near Nirmand.

Day 1: Shimla - Rampur - Jaon (by road)

After breakfast we will leave Shimla and drive you to the hatu peek and then we will drive you to the Rampur where you can take lunch and then continue drive to the jaon On arrival in Jaon, check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: The Acclimatisation Day at Jaon

The day is free for leisure and for acclimatisation in Jaon. An overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3: Jaon – Thachru (9 Km trek)

In the morning after breakfast, we will be leaving for thachru, which involves 9 kms of trekking distance. On reaching thachru, set a camp for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Thachru - Bhim Talai (9 Km Trek)

After breakfast today in the morning, we will move ahead to Bhim Talai from 13 Meel. The whole journey will include about 9 kms of walk. Thereafter, on reaching Bhim Talai, we will set a camp for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Bhim Talai - Parvati Bagh (8 Km Trek)

Today, we will leave from Bhim Talai in the morning and trek to reach Parvati Bagh, which is 8 km away. On reaching Parvati Bagh, enjoy a relaxing overnight stay at the camp set in Parvati Bagh.

Day 6: Parvati Bagh - Shrikhand Mahadev - Bhim Dawari (12 km Trek)

After having breakfast in the morning, we will leave from Parvati Bagh and move towards Shrikhand Mahadev and thereafter towards Bhim Dawari, which is together comprise of about 12 kms walk. On reaching Bhim Dawari, enjoy an overnight stay in the camp.

Day 7: Bhim Dawari - Thachdu (12 Km by Trek)

Today in the morning after breakfast, we will trek towards Thachdu from Bhim Dawari and cover a distance of about 12 kms. On reaching Thachdu, have dinner followed by an overnight stay in the camp.

Day 8: Thachdu - Jaon (14 Km trek)

In the morning after breakfast, we will be leaving from Thachdu and have an incredible trekking experience of 14 kms to Jaon. On arrival in Jaon, check into the hotel for a night stay.

Day 9: Jaon - Shimla - Delhi

On the last day of our tour, we will be leaving from Jaon in the morning for Shimla and then take night AC Volvo coach for Delhi at 22:00 hrs. Overnight journey.

Altitude: 5562 meters (18000 feet approx.)
Trail Type:- Difficult gradients. Steep incline trek going through dense forest, rough glacier covers, rocky moraine path.
Base Camp: Jaun Village or Singhaarh.
